Triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG) were first developed for energy harvest and self-powered systems based on the coupling effect of triboelectrification and electrostatic induction for converting tiny mechanical energy into electricity, which have been applied in various application fields as the self-power source or sensing units such as internet of things, environmental/infrastructural monitoring, medical science, environmental science and security. Here, our works mainly focus on three major application fields: micro/nano-power source, self-powered sensors and blue energy harvester. We will present the applications of the flexible TENGs for harvesting all kind mechanical energy that is available but wasted in our daily life, such as human motion, walking, vibration, mechanical triggering, rotating tire, wind, flowing water and more. Then, we will illustrate the networks based on TENGs for harvesting ocean water wave energy, for exploring its possibility as a sustainable large-scale power supply. Lastly, we will show that TENGs as self-powered sensors for actively detecting the static and dynamic processes arising from mechanical agitation using the voltage and current output signals.


孙旭辉教授简介


清华大学理学学士、硕士学位;香港城市大学超金刚石及先进薄膜研究中心及化学和生物系博士学位;

 

2003-2005 年加拿大西安大略大学化学系博士后;
2005-2007 年美国国家宇航局(NASA) Ames 研究中心纳米技术中心博士后;
2007-2009 年NASA Ames 研究中心先进研究实验室研究员及美国圣塔克拉拉大学兼职助理教授;

2009 年加入苏州大学功能纳米与软物质研究院,任特聘教授,博士生导师,副院长。


    一直致力于纳米材料和纳米功能器件及其在电子信息、新能源和化学及生物传感器方面的应用的研究,以及同步辐射技术及其在纳米材料研究中的应用。现已在SCI收录国际期刊如Chemical Reviews、J. Am. Soc. Chem.、Angew. Chem. Int.Ed.、Adv. Mater.、Adv. Funct. Mater.、Energy Environ. Sci.、ACS Nano、Nano Energy等上发表论文160余篇, 已被SCI他引3600余次,“SCI” H-index为35。获得美国专利2项、国际发明专利(PCT)2项、中国授权发明专利11项。中国物理学会同步辐射专业委员会常委,国家同步辐射实验室用户委员会委员、上海光源用户委员会委员。
